The collections of the BLJD

The collections of the Bibliothèque littéraire Jacques Doucet consist of the Jacques Doucet Collection, the General Collection, and the Special Collections. Their richness is not only measured by the value or notoriety of a text or writer, such as Calligrammes by Apollinaire, L’immoraliste by Gide, Charmes by Valéry, or Arcane 17 by Breton. Above all, their richness results from the grouping together of manuscripts and correspondence of authors now known or ignored, which form an exceptional literary network, in perfect resonance with the spirit of Jacques Doucet and his constant concern for modernity.
